The Asus Eee PC 1215T Seashell is a new netbook of the EEE PC series, that comes in the four different color schemes Silver, Black, matte and glossy Black and Red. The netbook is powered by an AMD Athlon II Neo K125 (Single Core, 1.7GHz, 1MB L2) RS880M/SB710M (with embedded graphic HD4250) chip, hi-definition audio, two Gigabytes of computer memory and a 320 gigabyte internal hard drive. The operating system of choice is Windows 7 Home Premium and the built-in hardware ensures that it is possible to enjoy full 1080p HD video on the device and a TV or big screen via the HDMI port. The 12.1″ LED Backlight WXGA Screen offers a native resolution of 1366×768 pixels.
The Asus Eee PC 1215T Seashell supports Wlan 802.11b/g/n @2.4GHz, and optionally Bluetooth3.0 + HS. The input output connectors include a vga and HDMI port, 3 USB 2.0 ports, 2 audio jacks for head phones and mic-in , a Lan RJ-45 port and a card reader that is compatible with MMC and SD cards.
The netbook ships with a standard 6cell battery and weights around 1.45Kg with the battery attached to it. A recovery key is available on the keyboard that can restore the operating system to its factory fresh state on keypress.
